Miami Senior Advisor helps families find senior care across all of South Florida — 19 cities spanning Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. Each city page covers the local neighborhoods, hospital coverage, senior demographics, 2026 cost ranges, and the care types available there, with a free, bilingual advisor a message away. Below, browse by county.
South Florida is one of the most senior-dense regions in the United States, and no two of its cities are alike. Miami-Dade combines luxury Brickell high-rises with one of the country's deepest networks of affordable, Spanish-first adult family-care homes. Broward blends established beach cities with sprawling master-planned suburbs. Palm Beach County's western communities — around Boynton Beach and Delray Beach — house some of the largest concentrations of retirees in the nation. The right fit depends on care level, budget, neighborhood, and, very often in South Florida, language and culture.

Most families don't choose a city in the abstract — they're looking for care near where a parent already lives, near family, or near a specific hospital. Start there. If a parent is being discharged from Jackson Memorial, Memorial Regional in Hollywood, or Boca Raton Regional, it usually makes sense to look at communities within 10–15 minutes of that hospital. If you're moving a parent closer to you, pick the city nearest your home and let us map the options there.
Two factors matter more in South Florida than almost anywhere else: language and culture, and hurricane preparedness. In Hialeah, Doral, and much of Miami-Dade, Spanish-first care with familiar food and customs is often the single biggest driver of a good fit. And across the region, every community you tour should have a real hurricane plan and generator power that runs air conditioning and medical equipment. We weigh both for every family we help.
