Miami Senior Advisor is committed to making our website usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. Many of the families we serve are older adults or are helping older parents, so accessible, readable design is core to what we do.
Our approach
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. In practice, that means we use generous text sizes and high color contrast tuned for older readers, clear headings and link text, keyboard-navigable pages, descriptive alternative text for meaningful images, and a layout that adapts to phones, tablets, and desktops.
Ongoing work
Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time fix. We review our site periodically and address issues as we find them. If you use assistive technology and encounter a barrier on our site, we want to know.
